Judy Blower and her partner Jackie opened Ye Olde Clippe Shoppe in 1970. In 1992, Judy’s partner Jackie passed away, leaving Judy to run the business by herself. Colleen was asked in December of 1992 by her pastor Shannon Blower if she would be interested in learning the business of dog grooming from his sister Judy. She accepted, and started working at Ye Olde Clippe Shoppe in June of 1993. Colleen and her husband Leo decided to purchase the business in April of 1994. Ye Olde Clippe Shoppe opened its doors in 1970 and 41 years later it is one of the oldest grooming facilities in the area today.

Ye Olde Clippe Shoppe
Colleen started her grooming career at Ye Olde Clippe Shoppe in June of 1993. Her and her husband Leo have four cats, three cats are residents at the shop, and one cat at home named Shnookle. Colleen and Leo obtained their private pilot licenses at Sky Park Airport in Wadsworth. Colleen loves to dance and arrange social events. She also enjoys hiking,swimming, camping,piloting small air crafts,boating,bicycling,motorcycle rides and just about all outdoor activities.She is a ballroom dance instructor for the In-Flight Ballroom Dance Company. She is also on the board for Cops 4 Kids with Autism, a member of the Senior Service Network group, and belongs to the Fairlawn Chamber of Commerce.

Megan found her passion for grooming when she attended the Medina County Career Center her Junior and Senior years of high school. After graduation she apprenticed under multiple groomers, then settled in with us a Ye Olde Clippe Shoppe when she decided to go out on her own. In her spare time Megan enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with loved ones and spoiling her four fur babies; a cat, chinchilla, and two gerbils. She also enjoys competing in grooming competitions, a hobby she procured after her first win her Senior year in high school. Megan in Red Cross certified in both canine and feline first aid, and is also a certified Bather/ Brusher along with four years of grooming under her belt.
